Well Moyes has a terrible derby record so I expect a loss of a couple of goals.
I'm sure you are doing all the voodoo doll stuff and burning incense hoping like hell we lose so that you can come on here and say I told you so.

You are an old man Dave, why don't you just let it go and enjoy the time you have left.

And if you don't support Everton anymore then go wherever you are happy and support them and be happy.

His reputation has taken a right battering over the last few weeks, firstly with the way he left, and secondly with what Moyes has done with the same players.

Moyes himself said he had a group of players he inherited that were well drilled.

You can only transform a tam as a manager with time...and Moyes hasn't had any.

This is all just the novelty of a new man in the dugout plus a more adventurous approach to home games.
Why not just give Moyes the credit he deserves and accept Dyche sucked any positivity out of his players and us fans. The football is night and day.

He's doubling down, anyone who's solely putting this good run down to a 'new manager bounce' is clueless and doesn't understrand/watch football.

The 'bounce' didn’t work out too well against Villa, did it? When he stuck with Dyche’s XI, people were quick to jump in with the ‘told you nothing would change.’ Now things have changed all the dychettes (bar dave who has no shame) are very quiet.

I'm one of the few who actually already wanted Moyes gone when he was summoned to SAF's house to do the deal. I was fed up with 'taking knives to gun fights' and 'butting glass ceilings'.
So I'm with Davek a little on that.
I wanted progress , wanted to win something and couldn't see it happening.
No one will ever know what he could have done with Moshiri's wasted millions.
But how far we fell to end up with Dyche ffs !
I just hope the more experienced Moyes can take full advantage of the new stadium / investment and get us back to where he had us.
And then at least look like he can make that next step this time. 🙏

Was it just a 'novelty' for 10 years when we consistently had a strong home record under Moyes? Moyes understands Everton unlike your arrogant gaslighting RS mate, he come in and recognised the players where at least capable of creating chances and getting 5 yards up the pitch, unlike your hoof ball merchant anti-football gobshite 'messiah'

Yesterday, we played to Beto’s strengths instead of just lumping it up to him- and guess what? It worked well. Who’d have thought?

We've been on the blink of relegation for 3 years, simply getting back to mid table is the first step, Moyes can do that.

The ‘dychettes’ are quiet because the job is done. As soon as the ownership change happened the period of potential club destruction was over.

And for those shrieking that Dyche was taking us down. He could have lost all four of the games since Moyes has taken over and we’d still be a point outside the relegation zone with a game in hand.

There’s probably not a single person who backed Dyche would wouldn’t prefer Moyes being in charge. What some of the crybot bedwetters don’t understand though is it was never really about Sean Dyche as a manager. It was about whether or not you wanted to put the entire club at danger pre takeover for the want of being ‘entertained’ or you could put that aside for a period of time recognising the limitations the club had .

Most people said all along as soon as the ownership change was made the managerial change was an inevitability and at that point it would work because the players would know this was the new owners choice and they’d have to fall in line.

Something else to think about, Moyes admitted that the only reason he picked up a relegation fight was because it was Everton and his connection with us. Look at the calibre of the managers teams around us went for Van Nistlerooy, Vitor Pereira, Juric, Graham Potter (with a far better squad at West Ham). It’s hardly like they’ve all picked up Mancini Mourinho Sarri Zidane is it? The Friedkins picked very wisely but we don’t have got a manager of Moyes quality if it hadn’t have been for that connection, he’s probably turned down some of our rivals this season already.

Changing manager pre takeover would have been ridiculous and anyone with half a brain understood that.

Thank the gaffer for what he did in his time here and the foundations he’s laid for the house Moyes is now rebuilding.

Foundations

I guess we should thank Lampard for laying the foundations for Dyche to save us from relegation in 2022/23. Thank you Frank.

One of the most bizarre things I’ve ever read on here. Getting sacked for being crap and taking the team backwards is not “laying foundations”.

Lampard did well to keep us up but he was definitely sending us down and left us 19th in the league cut adrift from safety with a squad culture that was awful bordering on unprofessional.

What Dyche left is very different. Fortunately Moyes has the class to recognise it whereas you obviously don’t.

Well it’s not really. We had 17 points from 19 games which is just 2 points better off than where Lampard left us. When Lampard left we were only 4 points off 13th.

If we’re going down the “Dyche would’ve definitely kept us up this season anyway” path then I’m saying that Lampard definitely would’ve kept us up in 22/23. The reason for that is because I’m saying so. That carries as much weight as you saying Dyche would’ve had us fine this season because of hypothetical reasons.

Not my fault you’re too one eyed to see the difference. A top manager like Moyes can though, and recognises it. As I said, no class, but it’s not surprising, you were one of the few people in here absolutely gutted when we beat Brighton, gutted when we stayed up v Bournemouth, and very quiet when we beat Liverpool, because ultimately you wanted to be right about Sean Dyche rather than see Everton do well. No class whatsoever.
