….ironic that arguably our two best players wouldn’t have started today had DCL and Mangala not got long-term injuries last week. Garner was terrific and we know Beto is effective if the ball is played for him to run onto behind the back four. What a pass from Garner for his 2nd.

What a difference 2 weeks and 3 wins make. Rum’s out tonight ;)

His finish was excellent as well. Very calm and composed.

Thought his first goal was well taken too. And tarks pass, considering he was a Cb, showed excellent vision even though Garners pass was a thing of beauty.

Garner gets MoM for me, industrious, tenacious and that pass for the goal was sublime. I can't remember a better pass from an Everton midfielder in ages; it was weight perfect and something that we've missed for so long.

Three wins on the bounce and we've vaulted clear of relegation - no need for a panic buy this transfer window and we can spend better in the summer *with our eleventh place finish*

No player is perfect. They all have their style, strengths, and weaknesses. But when a manager learns all of that and passes it on to the players, you start to play more perfectly as a club. Beto isn’t DCL, and vice versa, but Moyes has learned how to bring out the absolute best from Beto by playing the ball to him in a way that suits his style the best.
