2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

The home form was appalling under him bar that late winning run end of last season.

Even in the 22/23 run in it was poor.

Would never have started today or Spurs like that under him so that's the difference between him and Moyes in that Moyes actually wants to go for the second and third rather than grimly hanging onto a 1-0 at Goodison. This is where him managing for a decade before and knowing the feel of the place was a huge advantage re-appointing him.

The game is massively overcomplicated sometimes by odd approaches. Start home games well and more often than not you'll score first and then it becomes easier to win them.

Dyche had a very strange formula of barely wanting to do anything in them for 60 minutes, concede and then you're just punting long balls forward in the hope something drops in the box.

I prefer this approach unsurprisingly.

“ Can’t get any more out of these players.”

Scumbag gave up and just wanted paying off.

If he said he couldn’t get more out the team with investment, it wasn’t wrong was it. He was likely to keep us up with more defence based football.
That was his way to skin the cat.
Enjoying the new manager bounce, but we could do with a squad refresh
