Liked the look of that Alcaraz in an otherwise crap Southampton team. Hopefully he’ll look just as good in our crap team.
Welcome.
Welcome.
Yeah, for some reason, I remember his name vaguely and thinking he looked good at 1 point, did he score against us or something?Liked the look of that Alcaraz in an otherwise crap Southampton team. Hopefully he’ll look just as good in our crap team.

CBA checking but almost certainly yesYeah, for some reason, I remember his name vaguely and thinking he looked good at 1 point, did he score against us or something?
Gana Garner
Edwards Alcaraz McNeill
Ferguson
One down two to go. Doucoure (replaced by Alcaraz) Edwards (replaces Lindstrom and Harrison) and Ferguson (DCL and Beto) is a sizeable increase in quality and should have us looking upwards rather than over our shoulders.

Sorry Nidiaye for McNeillYou just dropped our best player?
No mateYeah, for some reason, I remember his name vaguely and thinking he looked good at 1 point, did he score against us or something?
So has Mangala’s loan been officially terminated? Or Harrison’s? Or Broja’s? Or Lindstrom’s?
Someone on loan needs to leave to make room for him.
Probably why the club are saying nothing yet.

Are you ok? Like actually ok?We should never have let Duran go to Saudi for a mere 70 million.
Serving a ban for impersonating an eagle against palace(Where Ndaiye?)
We need some youth players to breakthrough to save us some cash. Not sure I see too much of that but we need help in bridging the gapAgreed, also don't discount the feeling in the dressing room of seeing new players arrive especially talented ones. That alone adds value to doing so.
People will likely say I'm dreaming about getting 150m spend over 18 months being the minimum needed, but I'm dead serious - I'd actually say 200m would be closer to were we are at now.
The squad literally is absolutely bare bones now and by summer multiply that up big time.
Pickford, Mykolenko, Branthwaite, O'Brien, Patterson, Tarkowski, Garner, Irongebuem, McNeil, Ndiaye, Beto, Chermiti, Armstrong.
That's a total of 13 players we have. Sounds very very bad and if you analyse it it's even more catastrophic.
Tim has played (from memory) roughly 6 games for us and then missed half a season injured. He has zero track record at this level so just what we saw so far - very very unproven.
Chermiti hasn't played more than a few hundred minutes of league football for us and never scored a goal, and is gonna end up missing the entire season or near enough injured.
Armstrong has played a few minutes and looks a prospect, but nothing so far says he's gonna be ready yet.
McNeil is gonna have surgery on a knee, so how he recovers unknown.
O'Brien looks good but he's played a couple of games for us - can't really judge yet.
Garner has been injured for half a season
Manager doesn't trust Beto and we want rid of him clearly.
Tarkowski is 33 soon and there's signs he may be on the slide now
Patterson - is seeing a CB playing RB ahead of him and a attacking mid preferred at wing back.
So of the 13 players we have there's doubts - minor to really major ones on 9 of those players
Only players without worries are Pickford, Mykolenko, Branthwaite and Ndiaye.
Of those we will see a lot of interest again this summer in Jarrod and another is Mykolenko who most do not regard as being good enough anyways...
So yeah let's go with what we have it's fine ...
