I didn't know that we had any interest in him at all. Should I go here a voice my opion in some random player. I don't think so. And I don't think that we should have too high hopes about him because he's never been able fulfill his potential and even at Flamengo he's been a bit part player.

The likelihood is just that we haven't completed a medical so Paddy Boyland had been briefed it's premature, I'd be amazed if it isn't 99% done as there isn't anything in it for Flamengo to announce it otherwise.

The likes of Boyland and The Bobble adhere to Everton's embargo rules and wont post a done deal till they are allowed to. It wouldn't be on the Flamengo official website if wasn't done. They just jumped the gun or don't know what embargo means.
