Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

Any more injuries and with some difficult fixtures coming up , there is no other option but to get a good striker in. That or face a relegation battle. Not impressed at all by the new ownership.
??????????????? LMAO, this take is hilarious.

We have a very limited ability to spend due to PSR and multiple holes in the squad that have changed priority as a result of recent injuries. Limited ability to spend means were not going to sign any big names / negotiations are always tough in January.

Seems like Moyes has seen "the list"....and went ,nope, these players ain't good enough, sucks for the 1or2 we probably will bring in knowing they are not exactly first choice, and knowing that will they be busting a gut... doubtful.

Man United. These are 2023 figures but they made nearly £650m in matchday & commercial revenue.
This means their capacity to spend the amount of money on players which they do is unlikely to be hindered by PSR.

So yes - PSR does not affect them, because they make lots and lots and lots and lots of money.

United avoided a PSR breech as the league accepted a COVID mitigation of 20-30m the season after everyone else stopped claiming it. So yeah PSR didn't apply to them really, same as Chelsea sold a hotel and it was accepted also.

Ok, now do their outgoings.

They lost over £300m over a 3 year period, so they were in breach of PSR.
