A big miss in the middle of the pitch.

So, bad news confirmed.

His parent club must be thrilled we let him try and run it off.
Fair enough point in the usual context but the situation was quite unusual; holding on to a narrow lead, 10 mins to go, no sub to bring on so down to 10 men. They'd be more criticized if he came straight off and it was then found to be nothing serious.

Wishing him all the best.

I think he'll be a huge miss, unfortunately. He and Gana made for a nicely balanced pair in centre mid and clearly enjoyed playing together. It's allowed Gana to play much more of his natural game, not being too worried about being caught out of position when he's off hunting the ball.

I also liked him for his calmness, being good at the basics of football and not doing stupid things for no reason, which you can't say for many of our players. Big shame.

I might be being a little tough on the physios, but how come he was sent back on when he was injured? Surely it was obvious his knee was gubbed??
