New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I read somewhere recently that the new park end was built on the basis we were gonna be a championship club by the time it was finished, but not sure if that's true. It was certainly a disastrous decision to build essentially a poxy league one stand when we had all that room to use.

But we've been making smalltime decisions since about 1970 if we're honest, the mid 80's success was achieved 'despite' the board.
Not true but it was definitely a budget build.

Unbelievably sad what has happened to Dan Meis. This should be one of his greatest years seeing us move into our new home, but his is no longer there.

The blob of mess in the centre was once a Porsche.

I hope we start seeing bus routes sorted in the near future. Its a longer walk from town thrn people might think. I can't help but think about my deer old Grandad and how set in his ways he was about getting the bus to the match, even into his eighties (he wanted his ale so driving wasn't on the cards!😂). There's no way he'd have been able to manage walking from say Liverpool one bus station to the stadium. I know there's still ways to go as yet but with this becoming more and more real by the day, I think it should be something addressed sooner rather then later.
