New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

The sheets of paper they keep referring to will be the exact plan for each batch that they are working with.
Each batch of stones will be coded, palleted together, and pallets numbered and laid to that plan.
Checked, double checked and checked again before sign off.
It’s probably for this reason, and the fact there’s 28k of them initially, why it will take till April to compete phase 1! I clearly underestimated the complexity as I’d assumed once started, they’d have it done by mid Feb but it seems a little more to it!!

I’m amazed they’re individually mapped tbh.
Equally surprised they company doing it haven’t come up with a more modular way of fitting them, ie set batches on prefab bases and then fit the bases etc grout it all in, in situ, and you’d be none the wiser.

They've been coded I expect, it's like paint by numbers.

Yes, sorry - I know this initial batch is all sorted. I meant the extras coming later. It seems like at the moment they don’t even know how many they are going to sell - so it’s impossible to have a fixed plan.

I imagine it’s because there’s not much call for installations of customised stones of this magnitude.

The brick facades make sense to invest in R&D and machinery to accomplish that because many new builds across the country use them.
