We'll hear the latest retreat comment tomorrow concerning transfers:

"It's really difficult for wor right now; but if we believe we can get a player who can add quality we'll look at it".

Heard it for 11 years when he covered up for Kenwright and I'm fully expecting to hear it again tomorrow.

Moyes is a company man.

I mean he didnt really cover for Kenwright, he said we couldnt do deals cos we didnt have the funds.

That was the truth.

His line has been constant so far this time, he needs players, he wants players.

Hes trying to sign players.

But yes, lets see what tomorrow brings.

He needs players, he wants players...but we'll go with what we've got.

We were in agreement you and I 12 years ago on Moyes, as you can see from those posts from the vault.

I've remained consistent.

It's good that you've been able to do what you've done though...

You're either having a laugh or kidding yourself.

The football so far has been more of the same for the most part...and understandably so given the Dyche team was largely drilled to keep it safe. It'd take a pre-season of coaching turn around the mindset and add the players to play another way.

I'm surprised at you mate. I didn't have you down as one who'd drunk the Kool Aid.

Nobody with half a brain disagrees with either of these posts.

Moyes took the proverbial out of us as a club and a fanbase when he left. Some are happy to forget. That's fine but don't go re-writing history.

Post Dyche the football has still been terrible but we've had a few moments of luck go for us and moments like DCL's world beating 5-second cameo to help get us the results.

I know a couple of lads from Norway that speak like that when Everton win.

Food for thought. Not scouse, more Fårikål. Yum.
