Not sure it is mate and it’s not as if he was ripping the league a new hole every weekend . He was a young player with potential. He may sort himself out and become a good or class player.

But we have been a retirement home, treatment centre, players last contract and rehab clinic for to long .

Dele was class and cost us what? 15m in wages and played about 12 games … not even full games .

Unfortunately we have gambled to much and we cannot afford to take unnecessary gambles anymore.

We are nearly out of this mess , PSR complaint , decent manager that should keep us up , a new stadium and with it new revenue …

Why would you want to bring a big time Charlie / party boy to the club

I just think Ferguson has it to go to the very top. Bear in mind the likes of Patterson have been in far more trouble (covid party, issues with diet and fighting with a manager!).

We had a different manager in November and December.

Knowing Moyes, like any sensible incoming manager during a window, he'd want a say in what happens in that window.

They may be thinking that if we beat Leicester on Saturday (and the others lose), then we will be almost safe, and there will be no need to panic buy in the Winter window and wait for the much preferred Summer window. Risky business.

Dave, Bobble was on here yesterday and said if Dyche was still manager we would have had players in the club by now. We have some money to spend but not loads as there are still PSR concerns whether any of us like it or not. We all know what Moyes is like when it comes to the transfer market, a Sloth moves faster than Davie does mate.

That's a spectre trundled out every season for us now x2 windows.

No one is buying that anymore.

Yes we deffo dont know how to use the DoF role.

Its a mess with everyone weve had.

But lots of January transfers are done at the end of the window, across most of the clubs. Unless clubs (like city) are going to pay full whack, not sure we can put it solely at Thelwell/the owners door as it’s the same for most clubs.

Liking him personally and wanting him gone are not mutually exclusive. Like Seamus retiring decisions need to be taken

This summer there will be a major rethink: manager, DoF, raft of first team players - OUT.

Let's just hope they all dont take us over the cliff before then.

Sounds like we missed the opportunity to see Scotch egg head bring in Jay Rodriguez and a couple of cloggers to play his brand of hoof ball.

thankfully we’ve seen a calm come into the club and this has given Moyes the chance to properly assess where we need to strengthen.

I’m sure we will see some well considered signings in this week, especially after the injuries at weekend.

That shouldnt matter mate, the DoF employs the new manager or has a huge say because his job is to assemble a squad for them to use.

The reason why were in this mess is because each manager that has came to the club has dictated to the DoF, also the next manager should always be of similar style to the previous one to suit the players.

Thats why Brighton has worked so well, Potter De zerbi and now the new guy. They all play the same way with their own tweaks on the team, that why their transition of managers is smooth.
