Yeah, a blip for winning. To me, Leicester beat a poor Spurs side but Leicester remain very poor as a club. This was a game the Foxes should have won. So the win is more of an anomaly. The rest of the season won’t see a lot of points going Leicester’s way. So to me it was a one-off, a blip, but not a rising trend whatsoever.

We are certainly back in the mix should we lose to Leicester. No amount of saying ‘we are definitely safe’ makes that true. We still need to dig some good performances out, and that’s not a given with this bunch of players.

We need bear pit Goodison next week

I hope the match going fans appreciate that and we don’t go in thinking we’re already safe and showing some of the overzealous complacency some on this thread are showing

Goodison needs to be angry, vicious and uncompromising next week

Yell the team over the line

It’s the biggest game of the season

Could have gone 12 clear over them with a win next week and would have had them essentially in the back mirror

Now even if we win it’s only going to be 9, and if we somehow spung it (which we’re very capable of doing) they’re just 3 behind

Next week is season defining
Yes, it's a game with lots riding on it and one that comes with expectation. The great thing about David Moyes, though, is that he's always been very good at getting results when opportunity knocks and expectations are high.

Oh.
