WowIf you could get a fit and switched on Evan Ferguson he could transform the squad. All-round potential is far higher than Lukaku’s was for me.

Big “if” though, isn’t it? Similar to the “if we can get Dele up for it again” argument. If you could get a fit and switched on Evan Ferguson he could transform the squad. All-round potential is far higher than Lukaku’s was for me.

He seemed to be destined for a massive move and even that couldn’t stop him from giving in to his baser instincts. Not sure a massive step down to one of the league’s clown clubs is gonna be the thing to bring him back to his senses. Might make slightly more sense in the summer, but if we’re able to get someone in this window they have to be able to get going immediately.I mean a little bit smaller of an if there.

From the presser:
- Definitely needs 2 in
- Isn’t looking at full-backs this month with time restrictions
- Attacking players and maybe another midfielder
- Seems like he’s aiming for seasoned pros
- Kinda poo-poo’d Nuamah by questioning that he’s not played in England before
That does seem to be a pretty widely held opinion, to be fair, and the romantic in me would love to see Moyes mkII do the old “revive a flagging career” trick that he did with Arteta, Pienaar, etc, but it just seems like every punt we take ends disastrously these days so I’d be reticent.Yeh again it’s an if. He might have injury troubles his whole career, might love the lifestyle too much his whole career too.
Just for plain talent though he is exceptional in all areas. Best academy striker I’ve watched since Rooney.

Yeh loan with option would be lovely.

From that presser I’d guess Willian and a couple of championship players
