Despite some of my casual comments I suspect you're right and in defence of the club before his arrival it’s hard to recruit when you’ve no idea if the manager is staying , who the new manager will want and potter /moyes for example are going to want very different players.
It's hard to recruit, when Dyche is refusing to play new players.

What could possibly be difficult about signing multi million pound contracts in a very competitive market while trying to satisfy the interests of the player, their family and the agent; while trying to balance a wage/budget to comply with uncertain PSR rules.
Agents really are a disease in football nowadays. Can anyone remember when they began to be such a rot in the market?

I can foresee a situation where Chelsea will let us send Broja back, only if we take another player of there’s on loan.

They have us over a barrel with our trousers down as usual.

if that's the case, Chilwell on loan is a no brainer for me. If we can get Ferguson on an u21 loan then that's smart business

Do people really want a young striker from Brighton on loan? I would be interested in a permanent deal but a loan for a player who can't get in a mid table team and then sending him back in the summer?
That would be a huge waste of time and embarrassing, we have to stop with the stop gap squad fillers, get players better than what we have and that have a future at the club.

mid table? maybe but they were top 6 two years ago, and are currently 4 points off a champions league place

Welbeck is in the form of his life, Joao Pedro is a quality player as is Rutter. Half their bench would liekly get in our starting XI, we are way below a mid table side currently

Same weird thing some posters have said about Lindstrom that he couldnt get in Napoli side so must be something amiss. Napoli who won a Scudetto and are regulars in the champions league ...

Am going with 0 in, and 2 out on deadline day.

Broja loan, even though seemed interesting at the time, has hamstrung us properly. He is made of quavers and was never seeing a season out in the premier league. Stupid really.

Would prefer an option in the deal, also if could sell beto bring him in on a cheap loan deal and make money on beto then yes. Maybe be a short deal till end of the seasoj but w chance to convince the lad to stay here. I think is talented and needs a move, a deal might be hard to do in the summer because how much they want but maybe a sell on and other things we can get it done if it works out here

I don’t think there is any way of loaning players under 21 if we have our loan slots filled.

I think it would have to be Chilwell in and Ferguson could only come in if we sent Harrison back. Unless you have seen a reliable source saying u21 loans don’t count?

Yup the rule on under 21s was brought in to still allow academy players at massive clubs to be loaned out the restrictions apply in order they can't stockpile dozens of senior players and use them as a cash cow by loaning out 15-16 21+ year olds.
