Great window so far, Kevs ground work must have landed with Moyes
Two wins, ten points clear by deadline day, we go with what we’ve got.The window does not close until 3rd Jan.
The window does not close until 3rd Feb.
If there are no incomings then I fear for a couple of key injuries and we will be in trouble. Lets say ndiaye or dcl gets injured. Doomed.
Do we have to supply a pair of crutches in that deal ?FWIW Moyes had a similar Obsession with Broja and tried to sign him a number of times for West Ham.
It wouldnt surprise me one bit if we were back at the negotiating table for him this summer
Wasn't he a very very last minute loan? Which would mean he was plan H. We couldn't get who we wanted and had him as our backup of backups not even paying for him until we were ready. We get him ready, even looked good for the bit part he played, then got injured - who can help that. Would put that down to a little bit of bad luck, one could argue that we should have had a clause in the contract for it I guess but when getting somebody for free and not paying wages I u need to concede something.Broja really was an awful loan. Thelwell gets credit for his persistent interest and eventual purchase of Ndaiye, but his hyperfocus on players has hurt us overall I think. He had a hard on for Broja since Richarlison left, he was never the answer. Nowhere near aggressive enough and an abysmal injury record. Gnonto is another example that didn’t happen but clearly we put way too much time into. The fact that we used one of our most valuable loan slots on a guy who wasn’t even fit for the first 3/4 months of the season is a joke. I doubt Chelsea let us cancel the loan- we will absolutely be paying for it (in more ways than one)
sure, not paying his wages whilst he was initially injured was fine…but we also didn’t have a player to call upon whilst he was injured. It was a really poor decision given the quality of the squad and need for immediate improvementWasn't he a very very last minute loan? Which would mean he was plan H. Nothing wrong with his foot when he picked up 6 points on is licence - the judge was asked to take being on the grass under Sean Dyche to be taken into considerationTim back in training now, wouldn't be surprised if moyes wants a look at him and garner...just hope.we don't run out of time
Yeah it was incredibly last minute, think more of a “sod it, let’s take a look”. At that stage on deadline day it certainly wasn’t preventing an alternative loan.Wasn't he a very very last minute loan? Which would mean he was plan H. Loads apparently. Was anyone really expecting early business to be done?
It will all be in the final 3 days of the window
Not without a faux PSR cut off like in the summer. Was anyone really expecting early business to be done?
It will all be in the final 3 days of the window

I suspect this is closer to the truth than anything else posted in here over the last few days. Two wins, ten points clear by deadline day, we go with what we’ve got.
The same ones who think to get a player you just phone them up and they join immediatelyLoads apparently.
Despite us having little PSR room, having limited opportunities via loans and sacking a manager in the middle of January.
