Dream scenario if we could attract and afford them would be making Lindstrom a permanent, getting Richy back either on loan with option or a knock down fee and trying to persuade Mcatee that Alan Balls ghost wants him to sign for us.

Add fellows to the mix and we'd actually have a cracking forward line with serious options for once, counting Ndiaye being there as well.

How much would it all cost though, fellows say 12-15, Lindstrom I think it's 18-20 to make permanent, Mcatee say 25, Richy say around 30-35.

Best part of 100m which is roughly what they sank into Roma first season. Make Richy a loan with option you free up 35m to use elsewhere.

Leave us needing a couple of centre mids and maybe a pair of fullbacks

Easy this champ manager lark...

Lindstrom has had one good 60 minutes let’s not be saying we should sign him yet.

….positive mention for Lindstrom post-match from Moyes, which is good. He added that he needs that performance for 90mins, not 45mins which is exactly my sentiment.

Encouraging.

If you've seen the lad interviewed it's really clear he wants to do well and wants to be here permanently, Moyes is the type of manager who will tap into that to get the best out of him.

Well this is it mate...we've all been bemoaning the fact we need a right winger,Moyes was full of praise for Lindstrom in his presser.

Moyes might fancy Lindstrom and decide against bringing someone in.

Players play different in different system, we've just seen a whole new Right side there today, like I said in a previous post sometimes the players are right under your nose.
Is a risk for me yeah hooefully he can start to show his ability, but having another winger who can play on the right with pace even on the bench. Could help us change the game off the bench, do think will help alot of players improve on there performances so far but we musy bring players in . Just to get us over the line this season and for next season aswell

….yep, I saw a very good interview with him after the Palace game (Lark Lane and Sefton Park) where he was very clear that his performance was “sh1t”. I wouldn’t be excusing how he’s played, much of it is down to him but Moyes clearly liked what he did today for 45mins but is demanding that standard over a full game.

He’s talented but he really needs to apply himself, Moyes might get that out of him.

…I took it he was talking specifically about Lindstrom as he mentioned how well he played, it was the EFC interview, i need to watch it back.
I noted that he mention JL a number of times. Seems to be building his confidence. Similarly, he keeps referencing DCL and how he should be offering more. I like Lindstrom. I think there’s a quality player there, and if you think about it, he fits right into the type of player Moyes was Samir for signing. Quality player, gets a big move, didn’t work out for them, comes on loan and succeeds.

Yeah there has been talk about him going a bit Lee Sharpe down there on the Brighton party scene.

But if he fancies getting serious about his career, could Moyesy be the man to set him straight?

The trouble is the stakes are so high…

We love a romantic moment here don’t we

The one where the player “ gets us” and turns it aeound

But after trying to fix broja , dele , and a host of others going back to van der mayde and Drenthe

I am not sure I’d like to hang our prem survival on him…. But he is a very , or rather was a very good young player and better than what we currently have

Eggs, when you rewatch the interview you will see Moyes was talking about the team as a whole and not Lindstrom specifically with that comment. He talked about us being good for 45,60 minutes but that they (collective, plural) need to understand that is the standard required for 90.
