Left is a couple of days to see if it was just wifi or something but GoT has been almost glacially slow on Chrome for me the past few days. Not sure if anyone else is having the same issue? Works fine on my phone still. I've updated Chrome and don't (I think) have any browser adblocks enabled as I saw a site notification that a new update means anyone with adblock would find the server worse.

It's taking sometimes minutes to navigate a page, even when I hover my mouse over a clickable button it can take 30 seconds for it to turn from an arrow to a hand.

If you saw that notice mate, you would of been in our adblocker usergroup.

You don't now, so assume sound?

I didn’t think I ever did have an Adblock running that’s the thing. It’s ever since I saw that message things have been glacial. I wondered if it was me maybe trying to execute a function at the same time the website is doing that auto-refresh thing it does in the top right-hand corner and it doesn’t like it? Makes my whole Chrome browser freeze up.

Should have been ok for you since 11:44am today? That's when you was removed from adblocker usergroup.

Is it still playing up now?

Still ridiculously slow. Opened Chrome without GoT (I do have a lot of tabs open but I normally do) and it worked fine, opened GoT on a new tab and started freezing again. Could try clearing cache etc. but will just try GoT on like Edge or something first.

Last resort - I know none of my passwords 😂 I use the site like 80% on my phone anyway.

Maybe try just on GOT?

Yes, you can clear the cache for just one website on Chrome without affecting others. Here's how to do it:

Desktop (Windows/Mac/Linux):

  1. Open Chrome and go to the website whose cache you want to clear.
  2. Click the padlock icon or the info icon (🔒/ⓘ) in the address bar.
  3. Select "Site settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the new tab that opens, click "Clear data" under the "Usage" section.
  5. Confirm by clicking "Clear" in the dialog that appears.

Alternative Method (Using Developer Tools):

  1. Open Chrome and navigate to the website.
  2. Press F12 (or Ctrl+Shift+I / Cmd+Option+I on Mac) to open Developer Tools.
  3. Right-click the reload button (🔄) next to the address bar.
  4. Select "Empty Cache and Hard Reload" from the options.

Mobile (Android/iOS):

  1. Open Chrome on your mobile device.
  2. Visit the website.
  3. Tap the three dots menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
  4. Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear Browsing Data.
  5. Tap "Advanced" and uncheck all options except Cached images and files.
  6. Enter the website URL under "Time range" or manually clear cache just for that site if your Chrome version supports it.
