an ice bath doesn’t happen unless you tell everyone about it on your Instagram along with the temperature.
“Good morning everyone. Just wanted to jump on quickly and tell you all about how plunging my body in freezing temperatures has turned me from a cokehead into a pious bellend who is now addicted to walking up small mountains in North Wales and walking along muddy trails”

I know a lad who does exactly this. Drove to Snowdon to climb up it at 4am along with his life coach and posted all about it.
Me and another mate only really speak to each other to snidely laugh about it.

Why do the Weekend Wiggins lot feel the need to constantly shout at each other at full volume as their pathetic peloton weaves its way through the otherwise peaceful, blissful countryside. No one gives a flying feck about your lost baggage in Crete or how your firm is opening an office in Dundee, (just two examples from last summer). No one is listening anyway because YOU ARE ALL SHOUTING YOU MUTANTS!
Dunno about blissful if the amount of fridges and mattresses people dump down Layhams and Beddlestead is anything to go by. Cyclists are way worse than fly tippers though.

Guy I work with does that cross fit……. Last 6 months or so he gone tee total, only see him eating salads and got right on this particular flavour of exercise. Think he’s there 3-4 days per week minimum and it starts at 6am or something, so he’s up at 4am sending emails etc to let everyone he’s up and going to cross fit…..
In the last 5 weeks alone he been to hospital after choking on a piece of Costco ready cooked chicken breast, and this week he’s having blood tests after feeling lethargic….However none of this stops him pontificating about his health lifestyle and how people need more exercise.

His lethargy has nothing to with getting up at 4am everyday of course 🙄

Exercise is of course a healthy thing to do, but the number of people I work with who do 60km runs or do this and their general health and wellbeing seems worse for it with injuries etc.
They’d probably be much healthier doing something far more moderate imho and id be much not having hear about how great it is.

Runners - insist on sharing their runs. I dont care about how many calories youve just burnt off.

Cyclist - why they never yield just to prove point will always amaze me.

Martial artists - after a few bevies and they start thinking they can arm bar anyone.

Speaking of the martial artists, anyone remember the video of them 2 lads abroad somewhere in a bar, and one was pretending he was holding pads, while the other one done 'pad work'? Melts.

All the sanctamonious blerts wittering about something to do with a tick tock... crying like little babies coz they cant use it.. it has to be sport related, no??

Buy a chuffing watch amd see the little ticking clock tock around the face as you run, climb, wrestle your mum, or whatever it is you do.. go and do one you stupid little barstewards...

Does that count in this bracket...?!?

Christ i feel better for that... (sigh)

A good mate took up running with a local group about 10 years ago, in his late 40s. Fair enough. Good for him. But suddenly, his running is ALL he would talk about. It was like going to the pub with a vegan. It came up in every conversation and he posted regularly "just off out for my run" - which really started to pee me off as I was trying to enjoy my elevenses.

He was found collapsed with a heart attack last summer, near the end of his daily run and was only just dragged back to life and is still slowly recovering to this day. He's delighted though that "because of his running" he's had 2 years more than his dad who died of a heart attack in his mid 50s.

Preferred these bellends when they where on coke tbh.
