we still need a midfielder. Even with Garner and Iroegbunam coming back, Gueye will retire soon and Mangala should be sent back at the end of the season. If we could go for a central midfielder with some actual mobility and passing range it might help all the forward players if we had more of the ball and they were getting it earlier
We have been linked with Chakvetadze the Georgian midfielder at Watford, probably one of the standout players in the Championship, that's very much his role but it would likely be a summer move Id think.

we should be at least giving Harrison Armstrong some more game time to see what he can do. Looks more comfortable on the ball than any of his more experienced, overpaid colleagues.

On that right wing I wonder if Lindstrom will start more with Moyes - Harrison offers better pressing but not much threat.

I like the lad but not sure he has the legs. He’d be tidier on the ball than Gueye that’s for sure though.

I’d prefer to see us move to a three in midfield I think now. Doucoure is doing nothing off the front man and his goal threat has completely gone. We should fill the gap in midfield and let three players attack.

Domestic loan options. IF the club can extricate themselves from the deal for Broja (I imagine there could be a clause in the agreement, given that we had agreed not to pay his salary until he was match fit under the terms of the deal), then who is this 'better player' we could bring in on loan?

Have a look through the squad lists of the other Premier League clubs; it's very slim pickings as to who a) might be available, b) is fit and c) who would potentially make an impact

Bournemouth - just let Billing and Aarons go on loan. Would have been uproar if we'd have gone for one of them (though I rate Billing)
Villa - Philogene? They won't loan him, they need the revenue to cover the Malen deal
Brighton - Moder? Ferguson? lots of spurious links, both injured. Too much risk
Chelsea - Chilwell; left back shouldn't be a priority. Dewsbury-Hall I think could be a good pick up and I'm sure he'd relish some football. Chukwemena is in talks with Dortmund so he's not going to consider us even for a second I'm sure.
City - McAtee; this is the one I feel. Even better if we could get an option into the deal.
Newcastle - Willock? Would be a big improvement on Doucoure, but I doubt they'd let him go with a relatively slim squad.
Southampton - KWP yes, all day. Nominal fee, automatically becomes our best full back on either side. Wouldn't take that loan spot.
Spurs - Richarlison. Would love it. Is it realistic? Probably not.

Send Pep a video of Doucoure playing the number ten and tell him this is who Mcatee will be competing against. He'd instantly realise the lad will play 90 minutes every game.

Willian (deal to the end of the season) and Nuamah would be decent.
Would be better in the sense of what we used to in the last January windows where we couldn't do any business at all. However, both are doing poorly this season. I guess it is strength in numbers for the manager.

Why do you think it's a summer move? Do you have itk knowledge then. Amazing how many experts opinions I keep reading when in reality the only ones worth giving one about are the people who purchase the players.

On a few clubs lists and probably Watfords key player this season (or one of them) so I doubt they would be looking to offload him at the moment tbh. I suppose it depends on the offer that is made at the end of the day.

I mean if you don’t want to hear people’s opinions then joining an internet forum for people to discuss their opinions was very much your first mistake.

I repeat

'Bournemouth and Forest have out performed them in the last 12 months massively, spending a fraction of the net spend Brighton have.'

Beating ipswich away isnt no big licks, even we did that.
If you beat the bottom 5 home & away is 30 points, not that hard
They're target is to be a consistent top 10 club, which they're achieving currently. I doubt they're massively arsed what Bournemouth and Forest are doing this season. Anyway Brighton's net spend over the last 2 years is less than Bournemouth's
