Hearing that he said he had done as much as he could but didn’t resign, and that his attitude accelerated their decision, good to see they lanced the ginger boil rather than dithering.

Expecting them to gamble their millions on a sexy young progressive but inexperienced manager in their 3rd week of ownership with us stood right on the trap door and with one fit striker who nearly left 3 days ago is probably unrealistic.

Nah they weren't. They just wanted him to hold the can a few more months. Naive at best to think we could have a glorified interim manager see this side over the line.

Understand both sides.

But increasingly fear Roma fans are correct with their judgement on football. Moyes is a big kick in the balls.
This.
Out with the old. In with the older. And that's not a reference to his age.
If they take a punt on someone from the lower league, the flavour of the month in the PL, something to suggest a vision and a plan, a new direction.
This just feels like ground hog day.

We absolutely cannot be taking punts this close to the new stadium 1 point off the drop.

It’s like they’re using the same script as the one in Rome.

Fire Manager…….done
Hire a Club Legend…..nearly
Sack Club Legend…..pending

But they did win a pot and do well in Europe and are moving up Serie A currently so I’d take that, even with the drama.

There are no guarantees, no matter who we choose mate. I'd just like us to have bit more about us than looking at 'who's free atm' as this narrows the field down considerably. Christ it won't be long before 'he's still got a house in the area' is rolled out.

Yup, Groundhog day. Six more years - not months - of winter.

The idea that Moyes will be binned in the summer seems very fanciful to me.

Caveat it.

Avaliable.
Cheap or free.
Able to take the team next week.
Risk adverse.

Their is one choice.

Be interested to see what we're paying Moyes, just to see if we have learnt anything. Paying Sean Dyche 5m a year i thought was very excessive. Moyes surely no more than 18 months on a lowish wage i could stomach, with Carsley or Baines learning the ropes. At least that would boil Daveks piss. Baines on 100% win rate isn't a bad start. @davek.
