My question is why a club would wait until the summer, when bigger jobs may become available to snare the person you’ve been after for a while particularly when said manager is without a job, unless they think the move from style a to style b, and style of manager change is too risky at this stage of the season.

who ever we want isn’t free till the summer?

or who we want doesn’t wanna come fill summer

Well that would make sense but people are talking like Potter has been our no 1 choice and he’s free now and has been for a while (or was if he joins WH)
I think of a lot people - fan media etc jumped on the Potter bandwagon in the hope they’d appear informed or in the know. TFG tend not to leak anything to the press (based on Roma) so wherever Sky etc got their info.. it wasn’t from the owners.
I said earlier, I imagine it was actually Potter’s people trying to use us as leverage to get the best deal from West Ham.

Potter was probably considered - we may have spoken to his agent to test the waters but I doubt he was our first choice.

Don’t agree mate. This has been very public and transparent, Badly managed if I’m honest - unless we get him.
??? Everton have said nothing and all sky said was we spoke to Potter 6 weeks ago. Then made a big who ha over who gets him.

As for Dyche.. his job very much in doubt 3 wins all seasons.

How have they Badly managed it?
