I’m still in the 10%, just. Not because I agree with him or the way he plays but because I still think he will keep us up.

I wouldn’t have picked that side yesterday. I find it bizarre that he’s not playing wingers who cross the ball in for Broja or DCL, such as Harrison on the left. I agree with you all that another manager would get a lot more out of the attacking players we have. I saw Wissa miss that chance for Brentford and thought, poor old Beto only gets to miss one of those and he’s hooked. The miss is magnified like missing a bus because there is only one a day.

We could do without another severance payment.

We really need a hard reset in the summer—full suite of coaches and leadership with some youth and energy in the squad. If we change now, and I’m not convinced I’m right by any stretch, we’ll almost certainly see us with either a manager to suit the squad (like Moyes) or worse, a manager that doesn’t and you can see what that’s doing at Manchester United.

Anyway, the owners will be assessing all the options. Relegation would be bad but not terminal, so rolling the dice isn’t as risky. Look at Villa.

Anyway fellow Evertonians, let’s get behind the team Thursday and trust the owners. There will be better times ahead.

I support EVERY single Everton manager. Can you say the same?

But if you feel happy deflecting from your disloyalty by making my loyalty look like a wind up, be my guest...
No Dave. Im happy to say I never supported Benitez and I no longer support Dyche, but. I do have a base minimum that I expect from an Everton manager. Dyche does not, currently, meet that base minimum.
