Hilarious. But there were loads on here doubling down on Kirkby and making a virtue of the sock robber / Kirkby stuff and defended the move to the hilt...calling people Kopites if they opposed it. That's the same mentality of those now who wont stand for any criticism of the current stadium.

You stated something as fact. All I did was ask politely where this had come from. You then took the hump and started saying I know nothing and was allegedly being laughed at by a 'Senior Project Manager'.
Everything I have seen and been told is exactly the opposite to what you're saying. There is nothing in the public domain which verifies what you have posted and it doesn't make any sense for all the reasons I have quoted.

I've given you an opportunity to verify your claim and you've so far failed to do so. You can't even tell us exactly what it was they had an issue with. On what grounds, and to who were they objecting and how they were trying to get the stadium stopped?
No-one is asking for the publication of confidential messages and emails, just a basic understanding to verify what you have claimed.
If you're unable to provide that then I'm afraid whatever you have allegedly been told is highly unlikely to be correct.

At the end of the day it doesn't really matter, the stadium has been built. However, you can't expect to go posting things as fact on a public forum and not be asked to verify what you're saying; especially when it makes no sense whatsoever
