If he'd slipped Doucoure through as well he would have been offside. The fella couldn't even keep himself on

What needed to happen was either Harrison found thr direct pass to Gueye who was free in the middle, or square it back to Broja.

Not the first time Harrison has cut in and took ages to get his shot away only for it to be blocked.

Hands down the worst winger to play for Everton. Couldn't believe it when a couple of Leeds fans came in here and said he was a 1 in 8 type of player. He's a 1 in 20 player for us.
Yes I spotted that and good on Broja if he realised Doucoure was running into an offside position, as for Jack Harrison why take him on loan for another season when you saw what was he capable of last season next to bleedin’ nothing going forward or defending!

When Dyche ultimately leaves I think he may very well point to us needing to resort to signings like Harrison as proof of him having performed miracles to keep us in the Premier League. A hard-working player with absolutely zero outstanding or even above-Premier-League-average qualities to him. Nothing.

Robbing a living with us as he would be on the bench at Leeds.....

He runs around a lot which is a useful attribute for a footballer I guess.

That’s where it ends unfortunately. Nothing comes off him, absolutely nothing.
We’ve had more than our fair share of headless chickens in the last thirty years and I’m sick of seeing players like this, who have nothing to offer but the fact that they run about a lot. Dyche puts way too much emphasis on work rate, to the exclusion of skill or effectiveness.

The worst bit of that chance at the end yesterday was that the 2 players on the wing stayed narrow.

Had Harrison gone 2 or 3 yards wider, it would have given him more space to deliver with a bit more quality (I know, I know) or pulled on of the centre backs away given Broja a bit more space to work with.

But the 6 players were covered by a few yards making the end result inevitable.
