What I realise is that there are 3 or 4 posters who, when pulled up on their posts decide to accuse me of using computer games.

Using Atletico Madrid (from a few years ago) is a very, very good example and comparison to Everton football club.

I can only assume at this point that the entirity of your football knowledge is from a computer game. This must be why you are blinded to the brilliant and effective tactics in the past three games.

Hopefully you got an upgraded game from santa claus.
Likewise maybe one day you will one day understand how real football works and actually watch players before you post their names for a change, on second thoughts that's not ever going to happen is it.

I do get your point mate, and it doesn't help that we have drawn a lot of games. It can be interpreted different ways.

For me, our issue thus far is we made an awful start, and in my view looked ill prepared. That's my criticism of the manager. Had we have got 5-6 points from the opening 4, which is about the pace we have set subsequently most of the "noise" wouldn't exist. We would likely be half way up the table and in a far more relaxed state.

So yes we are a few points above the drop zone, but fortunately you have 4 really poor teams. Palace and us could get sucked in, but I'd be surprised. However as soon as we lost those first 4, it was always going to take us a long time to get away from the drop zone to feel comfortable.

That is on the manager, and in my view is the biggest criticism.

Exactly. We left ourselves needing to make up the points in the tougher games, because we completely botched the easiest start out of everyone in the league. So I can’t give him credit until the points have been made up, if we lose today we’re under 1 ppg with almost half the season played and on course for mid-30s points total which could see us relegated. That is underperformance in my opinion, and he should have an ultimatum to win the next 2 or he’s sacked.

Every fan in every league in every country wants their team to kick on.
But that’s not how the league works, most are going to be disappointed.
Without money kicking on is a pipe dream. Dyche has done a job providing stability, but kicking is a big ask with the resources available.
Do you call tracking to 38 points stability - 10 points less than last season?

And that likely will continue - that’s the criticism that’s been levelled at him all throughout his career which shows he’s not capable of learning. He’s stubborn. Thankfully we won’t have to endure another poor start under him.

1 win away in a full calender year is sh!te. My expectations are very low. But 1 win in a full year is pushing it.

We have new owners and a new ground, or have you missed that, financially we could be 150mil better off next season.
Burnley yo-yo around the bottom of the the table, not Everton and these new owners certainly won’t accept it either

Agreed - also his notion that you can’t possibly coach the players to a better individual standard, or the team performance to a better standard without money is for the birds. Yes, money is essential, but a good coach, will coach improved performance with same players.

He won’t be here, but yes it’s mad he has a. Horrendous record in August and yet changes nothing , seems like he doesn’t like to go far in pre season. Imagine if TFG said we want you to tour America in pre season, how that would go down.

Lots of draws though 🎅.

I’m guessing we get more than forty and less than 48. Terrible start but tracking similar at the end of season. Couple of games lost / wins due to rub of the green / freak occurrence can obviously happen

Stability was stay in the division. Move to the new stadium as a premier league club. Hand over the reigns to a new manager once the new owners arrived. Well done Dyche, mission complete.

Depending on signings and spending in January (if he is still here). The barometer for success may change.

Well you can guess. I’ll go off the stats.
