New Everton Stadium

Oh yeah, there's no way there'll be entry into the stadium. But I would have thought getting closer to it than us all standing on Regent Road peering through wire fences would be possible in the coming weeks?
I took it to mean the whole site. Outside areas still have Everton Way stones, more stones between the railway tracks (am I right in that?), the Everton banners on the lamp posts, main boundry wall still has areas that need cleaning, eventually something will happen with the Hydrolic tower, maybe two statues put in place, exterior barrel lighting needs adjusting, roof painting, scaffolding removal & probably a whole load of other things not obvious to the casual observer like myself. Would imagine there are also site safety & insurance stuff to think about too. When matchday & clubshop/restaurant staff etc are getting trained is my guess as to when I would imagine we could all start roaming the outer site. May to June just before pre season kicks in & test events roll out.

Depressing to think it'll take that long. Five to six months?!

Surely all the concourse architecture can be done in a short period of time. Anything to do with the roof I can see how the public cant be getting anywhere near that.

I'm not sure how useful telling everyone the keys are handed over if there's no chance of the club doing anything with it.

They are doing something with it, the interior fit out.
LOR have done their bit (less any snagging) and achieved practical completion.
That said I’d be surprised if it’s not ready for test events before 6 months is up.

I took the information on these to be places for future forever stones. I think it could be another x amount of years while they wait for enough demand to start the sale, remove the concrete between the rails and lay them.
Interesting. When the concrete was poured between the tracks I was under the impression the pour was not flush with the surface already leaving the room for more forever stones to be laid at the same time as Everton Way stones. We'll find out soon enough I suppose.

I had a good look at the tracks when I was down there the other day.

I suppose for health and safety reasons, they are completely flush with the surrounding surfaces. There’s nothing to trip on, not even the smallest lip.

The best pic I took to highlight what I mean…

There should be days put aside so supporters can get on site and then others where its not possible to do that as work resumes.

Surely the club see there'll be frustration at a lack of access.

We're well ahead of schedule I would have thought.

I imagine it would be fairly easy to isolate areas where they wouldn’t want general public access and allow safe passage to some of the stands etc.
I agree it would be a missed opportunity not to allow tours etc, even if it were invite only to tenured season ticket holders for example.
