Because If we play any other way we will get relegated. Our team is full of championship level players. We barely score goals because we have a gang of donkeys up the top of the pitch. Just look at Harrison’s opportunity today, and it’s the same every single week.

The problem is we aren’t far off relegation playing this way.

And we’ve got a championship level manager so a good fit all round.

I don’t agree if you look at 14th onwards every one of those has very strong deep sides with lots of quality, finishing above them would require lots of investment.
Two years ago, if I'd have given you the names of the current first team players in the Bournemouth squad, for example, you'd have looked like Ancelotti being asked about Garbutt. The Premier League, outside of a handful of teams, is the weakest it's been in a very long time. How else do you explain us staying in it for the past few seasons?

I don’t think many managers could have us out of this mess we are here for a reason, not many sides would have a left back being very poor (bar Arsenal) week in week out and retaining his place in the side because the bench isn’t good enough, or rotating between 2 wingers who both aren’t good enough and give you no attacking output, or a striker who can’t score goals but Beto is the only option off the bench, hopefully with broja fully fit he will give Calvert-Lewin some competition.

It was a good result and could have gotten a cheeky winner. We have mostly survived this difficult stretch and just need to take care of the lower 14 once we get to them again. Hopefully we catch City while they are still in the dumps and not at their best as that would be a massive result for us. Fingers crossed.

It’s the same every week??, we have the worst xG in the league, so we don’t create brilliant opportunities , our XG today was 0.39 Chelsea’s was 0.77, so Chelsea had the better chances
Chelsea also missed 2 sitters in the first half they would normally take so works both ways, Newcastle and Fulham both should have beat us on chances. We ain’t getting relegated, I could take over in January and keep this squad up
