I hate the fella, but he has done a "decent" job in very trying times, so if he can win a game or 2, keep us free from any danger, then sure, no issue with the utter dinosaur seeing out his contract.

I just dont see why our new owners would big up a fella that might not even see out the year.

It had some caveats attached.

Which is why - because everyone knows this, especially Dyche - Watt's should have publicly made a point of acknowledging Dyche. The lack of class in the matter is possibly an insight as to the way things are going to be here.

...and the sight of our own fans kissing their arses after the last 20 odd years worth of calamitous ownership regimes is very concerning.

But they’re not going to. Dyche isn’t a fan favourite, so why publicly praise him? They’ll just keep quiet on it until he’s gone.

No one should be praising the Friedkin’s yet. Experience shows they’ve got to do something to earn that.

I think it's fairly evident that the reason the new owners haven't come out and publicly backed dyche and talked him up is because they know his capabilities and that they will be getting a new manager pretty soon. Only a contrarian or a fool would argue differently.
