Another momentous day in the club's history and the third in a row I've had something to celebrate. This is the kind of Everton I need that boosts my spirits!

Long overdue all this isn't it. Forgot how it feels to be this made up with our club

What can the capacity be extended to? Saw the lads on toffeetv saying current capacity isn't big enough

It's currently 52, 888 and I've been told on good authority that they can get it up to 52,889.

Bit emotional. I have 2 immediate family members, with whom all of my Goodison memories were with as a kid that saw the start of the project, but sadly not the end. Big day for the club and more importantly present and future Evertonians. Brilliant.

Well:

Having now taken possession of the site, the Club will oversee the six-month fit-out phase that commences in the New Year. That will include interior design specialists, tradesmen and women and audio-visual engineers completing the stadium’s many bars, restaurants and experiences, as well as retail spaces, delivering a modern and unique new home for Everton.
