If friedkin decide to go another route then he really should have no problems getting another job with stats like that.
The only manager to keep a team in the premier league without costing the ownership any additional money. There will be plenty of sides in trouble that will see him as good chance of survival and keeping costs down.
Those are the two real stats that he is judged on.

To be fair, Dyche did say they are fully supportive……but you have to win games. He didn’t say he’d been “backed.”

Nothing new came out of it. If he picks up a couple of wins, he’ll stay longer. Lose a few in a row, he’s gone. But would need to win many many games to get a new contract. More than the squad is capable of.

Two manager that won manager of the season?
Mad how Real Madrid didn’t come calling for Alan Pardew or Tony Pulis isn’t it? How come Sean Dyche hasn’t won manager of the year? If only Pulis had some pace in the team he would have setup differently… Both have outperformed Sean though on his £5m per year contract.
Sean Dyche, a poor version of Tony Pulis and some people on here pretend he’s one of the best managers we’ve ever had, it’s beyond laughable.

I don’t get your point. Both had decent careers at lower table teams, some decent some bad. Both won manager of the year. You think we should be comparing him to pep?
Last time I looked we were a lower team club with no money spent.
The fact that lower table teams lose more games than higher table teams isn’t that shocking to me.

I think they might want him to remain just to start a clean slate in the summer, but we know what Sean does he goes 2- 3 months without winning a game of togger so I guess these will punt him at some point!
I’m sure it’s the ideal scenario for TFG for us to be comfortably mid table and punt him at the end of the season but as you say it’s not guaranteed! The pressure is on for him now.

What if I told you we are a lower team club due to us appointing VERY bad managers who dont know how to win games?

Never mind. Dyche already compares himself to Pep so we don’t have to 👍
