The “box” that Sean operates in?…

I think he will continue till the new owners see the boring football & if we drop into the bottom 3 - they will have a just reason to remove him in the near future if he gets vital points v top teams coming up - he may stay on a bit longer .... but it is only a short term stay IMO as the football is so boring .... under him ....

I too cannot wait for this wondrous turn of events. In many ways it’s the Christmas I dream of.
I honestly hope it never happens as that will put us in a very precarious position and will kill all the optimism of the takeover.

So as much as I don't rate Seanie, I'm hoping for some miracle (it is the festive season after all) and we can stay in 15th to 17th place as we enter 2025.

I think it reflects that you probably not a bigger picture kind of person.

Net income being being positive you have to fall into two camps

1. The squad value has decline year on year, and Dyche has he had to keep a struggling team punching above its weight
2. Thelwell has worked miracles, and needs due credit.

We have new owners now, the remit and investment challenges may change, therefore depending on this we can start to judge Dyche differently. Balls in the new owners court now
I enjoy how you’ve both also made insulting posts to people this morning already. Lowers the value of anything either of you say every time you do it.

Don't much care about the quality of the football at the moment (I would do if the team was full of big bucks signings) but I do care about the results.

For me, the persona Dyche puts across in public of the blokey bloke who deals with simple realities is exactly the kind of guy I would run a mile from. Unimportant! - as long as he gets results while we're waiting for the effects of the takeover to materialise.

And then launch the galoot into the far, far distance.
