How many pts do you think he'll need to be secure after the next 4 games? Same as me, 6 ?
Not even sure that will be enough, as think it will depend on manner of wins as well. I also don’t think TFG will want to waste a window only for him to then revert to normal form.

Personally can’t see him getting 2 wins. Maybe 1 win and a draw aided by fan support following takeover.

TFG will be looking at the data and seeing Dyche not having top signings and Thelwell actually working on a negative net spend since joining. Even the likes of Harrison, Lindstrom and Broja, 3 attackers are all on loan. Beto was signed on a no money down deal and DCL wants out.

You've then got our 1 left back and 40 year old right back. Gana and Doucoure out of contract soon plus Mangala on loan.

That is what TFG will be taking into account.

I think they'll stick with Dyche if things arent too bad by Bournemouth and then bring in 3 players. They'll likely have expectations on Thelwell and Dyche based on these signings...

Not a chance why would they buy 3 players in jan, what are they going to do buy 3 players that fit a dyche team to get rid of him in the summer, or buy 3 players in to suit a new mananger and then dyche won’t play them
That’s the big issue for January

They key weakness is the manager, first and foremost. A different manager will have a better return on the games this season, and we would enjoy it more. Dyche can't be held responsible for players missing sitters for example but he bleedin well selects the team week in week out. But it's okay, we got a point at Arsenal, it's all okay.

To be fair, what a job this man has done the last two years. We were screwed from all angles, but he got a tune out of a team with 8 points deducted. He deserves eternal credit for this. He's clearly not going to be the answer going forward, but we must acknowledge the job he did last year - tremendous.

Surviving a points deduction that would have relegated only one other team in the entire league.

Truly stellar work.

I think he'll be gone by February because he's not getting much - if anything - from Chelsea and City and so how he fares against Forest and Bournemouth will be critical. We'll be in the bottom three if these games go against us. Are they really going to sit on their hands and hope for the best when they can still make a difference in the window? And would they want to make a difference in the window with a failing manager in situ?

If Dyche can beat Chelsea, he'll likely keep the job until the summer. But lose to Chelsea and City and fail to beat Forest and he's dicing with death before Bournemouth - a winnable game for a new manager bounce.
