New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I 've only used them twice, first time was in Paris. I kind of wanted too, as a test. For work.

I was a right hooligan on it though. Swerving through traffic and beeping at pedestrians, just to make sure I got the full experience.

True. I think the lesson of it all is that if people are planning to walk from the city centre, or anywhere else for that matter, I think they need to do a test run or 2 this summer. That said, generally speaking I think people believe the new place to be a shorter walk from town than it is.
I think the walking distance is vastly underestimated personally. I'm relatively healthy and can do liver building to BMD in 20 or so but many, many people won't be able to for various reasons.

Add in the cold, wind, rain and it becomes really tricky, even I'm not walking that in the rain.

There will be various stop off points of course but to me the transport situation remains totally inadequate.

It's remarkable that nothing has leaked out of indeed there will be two new statues. I still think it'll be the two from near Goodison that are coming.
doubt they’ll fit on those plinths at BMD. If they come they’ll be somewhere else on the footprint.

I reckon it’ll be 2 of these 3 players:
Big Nev
Golden Vision
Hickson

Outside chance one might be Catterick.

I agree. But we still don't know what the transport arrangements will be yet. I mean regards extra trains and Soccerbuses. I hope they get both right. Hopefully we hear something in the new year.

The close proximity to the city also means more fans will have the opportunity to walk to Bramley-Moore Dock, while a looping matchday shuttle bus services will run between the stadium and the main stations in town, for those who cannot make the journey on foot.

"Main stations". Lime Street, of course. Which others I wonder? Sounds good.

Regards getting there, we have to hope there are Soccerbuses and lots of them from various points in the city centre. The train will be rammed. And let's hope they have 8 cars and increased frequency, too. They can do it for the out of towners for the Grand National. Why can they not do it for us Evertonians?
Projections by Merseyrail et al. suggest people may wait up to 45 minutes for train from Sandhills in the period straight after the game.
