Seem to recall Kenwright took over from Peter Johnson on Christmas Eve and thinking what a great present - hopefully this one is much better.
Why did everyone hate Johnson by the way, know i did but can't remember why

Selling players behind managers back.
Usual ownership journey. Came in excited, spent money, never saw a return on the field, got bored and asset stripped. Selling Duncan Ferguson without telling the manager… we were left with Jon Spencer and mark Hughes upfront. Terrible.
Kevin Campbell came in somewhat luckily and Jeffers came through, which kept us up one season…
Mirrored today, anyone of value sold and players bought in cheap.

I always thought Johnson came in with good intentions but by the time he took over the game had changed and you couldn't do much with 10 million anymore,that and the fact he introduced cheesey chips to his business empire.
