Unlike John Textor the new owners say very little - good sign or not - Textor's enthusiasm for our club was brilliant - John Moores always talked our club up ?....... this lot are very quiet - are they in it to buy & then flip our club for profit - one wonders?
They're USAian ... is there pope a Catholic? It's what they breathe.

Give it a couple of days and it will be Another 48 Hours. ;)
With Eddie Murphy?

The friedkin group arent here to flip us, that's not how they operate, none of their business' are ran like that, they will be here for the long term.

There will be ups, there will be downs, but we will be completely transformed as a club, ran by actual intelligent business people, and we will be very thankful for it.

This will be a great day when they're finally announced.

Textor is mostly bluster. Textor's enthusiasm moves from club to club as opportunities arise.

sure i read have been trying to get a prem club and was linked to west ham aswell, can never be 100% they wont sell on the club but with the stadium in the prem ect is prob the best they could really get and like most americans is maybe one of the last big clubs for sale imo.i do get what you mean is nice hearing owners talk up the club hen the other side you get moshiri saying we would bring in a striker ect.
Is good to get a mix is why with the takeover i hope we can get this talk from the dof and the person they have at the top running the club.

Roma are not a great example but anyone to sort our mess of current ownership are welcome!

Seem to recall Kenwright took over from Peter Johnson on Christmas Eve and thinking what a great present - hopefully this one is much better.
Why did everyone hate Johnson by the way, know i did but can't remember why

Yeah agree i dont kno the full story but does look like have done a good job on the money side sorting the mess out from the past. But agree the managers dof they have went thru is not what we need here. I am going try be positive even if they keep dyche in till the end of the season or sign thelwell to a new deal. For me the first thing i will be looking for is who they add to the board and what they do to the structure. Even the jan window i am not expecting massive changes but if we can make some good transfers in could give us all abit of hope.

Defensive team missing a playmaker and a few tricky wingers, perhaps an overlapping fullback or two. Turns into a 'solid' counterattacking team.
So just half of the outfield players need replacing. I'd argue an actual striker too. So 6 of the 10.

So back to the original post, a new manager doesn't improve the team, a new team improves the team (along with a new manager)
