Not sure whether this has been picked up by anyone, but noticed the flat roof in the South East corner is looking very clean.

Either in advance of some other finish/ surface going on top...or maybe just being cleaned as part of the handover process....hope it's the former!

Wow, that really is clean. Almost looks like a new surface that doesn't it.

Wow, that really is clean. Almost looks like a new surface that doesn't it.

Yeah, maybe it's had another coating of something as well. Can't really tell but it is starkly different in colour to the other flat concrete roof areas. Even the bit under the South Stand, which I thought was pretty clean, looks dirty in comparison.

Is that definitely confirmed? Might have been coated with a grey primer then if that's the case because it looks 'too clean'.

One of the fan drone videos? That's probably where i'd heard it but wasn't sure if that had been officialy confirmed by anyone linked to the project.

You can see other parts of the roof beneath the barrel cladding have a black surface, so expect that to be the same elsewhere, but that's just an educated guess rather than any official confirmation.

Loads of material in NE Corner all batched up ready to remove from the roof.If it the case.......which I believe it is................weather permitting ...... it's a minor job.

I sure hope so. That particular issue has been a bugbear of mine. It will look so much better with a clean and non stained look, obviously.
