Brojas not perfect, but a fit Broja is miles better for us than Dom or Beto. Chermitti probably going to be more effective too if he carries on his development.
What convinces you of Broja’s abilities?
At this point he has largely failed to realise any of his potential, his goal scoring record to date is not especially impressive.
It will be interesting to see how he performs here , but he has everything still to prove ( or let’s face it he wouldn’t be here in the first place )

From the 7 minutes or so I have seen of the lad, he seems fairly rapid, seems unafraid to carry the ball forward and appears to have a rudimentary understanding of the offside rule. On that basis alone, I am encouraged that he wont frustrate me s much as Dom or Beto does. However, I think anybody expecting a Kevin Campbell style rush of goals is going to be hugely disappointed. Where I am optimistic, is that along with Ndiaye and Mangala, we would have people constantly occupying defenders and (hopefully) making space for people to head or shoot on goal. I doubt he will be a hit for us, but I am confident he will be no more a flop than Dom or Beto have been this season.

What a state of affairs eh? A club famous for its centre forwards to have gone so many seasons without a single player worthy of the name :(

Having watched Everton/football for 6 decades, and seen Broja a fair bit and obviously considering Dom/Beto’s output. Then forming my own opinion. Not much in it, but there you go.
Fair enough .
I think any striker will struggle in our ‘system’ that leaves them so isolated up front.
I don’t think Broja will fare any better than DCL or Beto personally in what is a thankless task.

If Friedkin are going to bring in a new manager, which is likely, it wouldn't make sense to bring in new players in January unless a change is made early enough in the windows so he could make the choices.
That’s the problem if dyche stays we can’t waste money on players dyche wants, when he’s going to be out the door at some point this season.

Based on what, exactly? According to transfermarkt, 6 goals in 32 is the best hes done in the prem, which isnt very impressive nor outside of our current forwards reach.

I think Broja does have real pace which is badly needed.
I think he is more mobile than DCL, better control and awareness than Beto.

Goalscoring has long been an issue for us but the strikers are only partly to blame for that. We have so little pace in the team and so little creativity that we create very few worthwhile chances.

This is for me the biggest failing of a Sean Dyche team.
Defending is far more important than attacking and scoring rather than having a more balanced approach.

We certainly needed a manager like that for the previous two seasons but we did bring in some better players in the summer but seem to have no idea how to use them

Everton and Fulham remain interested in Lyon winger Ernest Nuamah. Crystal Palace also hold an interest.

Lyon will agree to let the 21-year-old leave in the event of a good proposal in January.

Would stay clear to be honest. Not because he was apparently crying when he was about to be loaned to Fulham, but can’t take the chance that he doesn’t settle and wants to move on in 6 months. I know he may be forced due to Lyon’s financial issues but he may want to stay in France or Europe. If we did decide to go for him, we need to be sure he is ready for the move.

There's nothing but raw hope, but we can't keep playing DCL and expecting anything different to happen.

Which means that's exactly what we are going to do because that is Dyche's entire career.
