And as I said, if you live miles away you need to make your own decision. Everton aren’t responsible for that. I was planning to go today, I live 3.5 hours away and haven’t got in the car. Didn’t need Everton to tell me.

The overwhelming majority of people going to the match live within an hour or so of Goodison, and weather in Liverpool last night wasn’t horrendous. The storm could easily have passed differently and today not be as bad as it has turned out.

People often make poor decisions in scenarios like this though, you see it a lot with horrendous weather conditions.

The club saying it's ok for the game to go ahead makes people think it's ok to travel.
