I have to be big enough and come back on here and say that the info i had regarding the takeover has not materialised. Whether it was wrong in the first place or something has happened to delay it i do not know. I just wanted to allay peoples fears and that it was imminent. This came from inside the club. Maybe the Friedkins are waiting for the deal to be watertight. Lol. If i hear anything now i ll probably be reluctant to post.

Never professed to be in the know. I have no desire for that badge. I only want whats best for our club.

It's going to happen. I would assume around Dec 14th. If you read the esk (I know) the resolutions sent out require 14 days notice, unless they are waived. The transaction won't be effected until that time, I would assume (I'm no ITK).

I'd be in dream land if we could get rid of Beto and Doucoure but why would TFG dump Everton's problems on their other child?

TBH, I can see Beto actually being quite successful in Serie A, his pace, power, height may be a good mix for a league that is less physical and not set up to handle a forward of his size. He will still miss shots of course but with the way defenses play there he may get more chances to run in behind which is what he seems best at.

Doucoure would be a gift.

Have said all along it will be Friday 13th knowing us.
