The amount of people who message Al Myers and think they are going to get some sort of scoop is incredible, like he wouldn't be all over the 24 hr sports news channel he works for telling everybody if he knew anything?

I don’t really get the jibing that goes on around Alan Myers in his job as a journalist. If he doesn’t know something for definite he says so, and when something is just his opinion he says that too. Wish more journalists were as distinct between the two things. Can’t help but feel that if you aren’t interested in his opinion, then don’t pay any attention to it, not as if anyone is forcing anybody to pay for it.

It is quite illogical. Like he isn't being paid to disseminate information that the general public doesn't have, and would share that information outside of said framework. Or more to the point, withhold that information until @biggestblueever asks on twitter.
