How do you come to that conclusion?
Simply whether the situation as it currently stands would be one for him to come in to. Don’t get me wrong I do want him and in the past I have touted him (and still do) as a manager to keep an eye on.

I think for me though I’d want more a points difference between bottom 3 and where we currently are and with those narrow margins as they currently stand not sure bringing someone of that undoubted talent but also inexperience at this stage may just be a little too risky.

The press are starting to smell blood now, Barkley very critical in the Athletic and more surprisingly Matt Jones, the red echo's football editor tore into him today. He's pretty much done now if the red echo are prepared to put their two penneth in.

that’s nice of them

Now all we need is the likes of Joe Thomas and Vinny O Connor to state “things are not too positive at the moment “ and we’re all set.

It's hard to dress up a nil nil draw against a team with zero points away from home who were reduced to 10 men in the first half. Particularly when we failed to create any big chances at all after the lad was sent off. Even Sean's buddies and the RS in the press can't claim that was anything other than a massive missed opportunity. My bet is that they'll be back on his side after a relatively narrow defeat to Man Utd next. They like to keep us in our place.

We’ve won 2 in 12

We’ve lost 5 in 12

We’ve drawn 5 in 12

Whichever way you look at it, it’s grim. Especially with the fixtures we’ve had.

2nd lowest scorers, worst team in the league to watch.

We are 100% in danger.
With the December run coming up we absolutely are in danger, and -yet again- we've done it to ourselves.

We don't score many goals and haven't had a player capable of getting a dozen a season for a long time, so of course we didn't address that in the summer in typical Everton madness.

We've thrown away a 2-0 against Bournemouth with minutes to go, failed to hold a lead against Leics, beaten by Saints who'd not won all season, salvaged a point at home to Fulham, escaped with a draw away to West Ham etc etc - you can't serve up those kinds of results against those types of teams and expect not to be in danger when all the top teams are still to be played.

Big Ears McKenna is just this seasons Rob Edwards...Another flavour of the month manager.
Either that or the new Arteta. A highly thought of coach at Spurs and Man Utd who got two successive promotions in his first two seasons in charge. I think this guys has more about him than Edwards but always difficult to tell

We get a man sent off vs Brighton get beat 0-3 at home. Brentford get a red and all we can muster is a 0-0. Very very frustrating.
The manager has shown he is unable to improve the team in possession and create patterns of play.

The more play we had yesterday the less likely we were to score. And after 22 months in charge we are more toothless in attack now than we ever were. The football is unwatchable and unacceptable at this level.

Ultra cautious safety first football has no place in this league, never mind at home to a side with 10 men who had a grand total of 0 away points.

Yep completely agree. I know it’s been talked about on here but it’s completely telling and speaks to his mindset than when asked about NDiaye playing as a 10 the first thing he comes out with was around his defensive positioning. Attack was a secondary consideration.

Absolutely, I heard a stat yesterday that mentioned Brentford had lost all their away games and Everton come along and say 'hold my beer' pretty much sums us up at the moment
