2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Moshiri has 1 foot out the door and the team are currently not in the relegation zone, ergo everything is just peachy! Until the takeover is complete his job is 100% safe, no matter the results or performances.
Surely Moshiri and Freidkin are in conversation with each other. This just can't go on much longer. It's absolutely woeful. You could put up with poor performances if we were winning games. But it's horrendous.

Never thought I'd ever see more turgid, tedious football than I seen during the Walter Smith era but Dyche has beaten it and then some.

At least during the Smith years we saw a few 4-0 and 5-0 wins, even a 6-0, we'll never see anything like that with this guy and his mind-numbing 'methods'.

it’s the worst I’ve ever seen us and whilst I accept our players are pretty average at best, they are better than what he’s getting out of them.

I'm sure Moshiri will not to do anything to jeopardise the sale by rocking the managerial boat before a new owner comes in (he just wants to sell ASAP), and Freidkin might only be weeks away from taking over and he'll deal with it.

I doubt either of them care one iota about performances or entertainment right now, the bottom line is we are currently 15th so everything is fine. If that changes for the worse and we start to get adrift down the bottom, I think TFG have proven at Roma they're not afraid to act if they feel the need to. December's results will probably go a long way to dictating what happens for the second half of the season.

You’re spot on .

It’s mad how many of us have the same conversations. The falling go love up to Walter smith’s Everton was the exact topic of our conversation in a match WhatsApp group and I heard a lad say it outside the ground yesterday .

Feels like pretty much everyone can see it , it’s a horrendous reflection of how this club and its standards have fallen over the years that he seems to be under zero outside pressure , like we’re a Southampton or something .

I guess the question is why after Chelsea? They surely weren’t thinking they’d beat them on which case he could have gone sooner unless it’s only now they have someone in place.
I don't think they were expecting anything from this season, but have seen how poor certain teams are and can see a path to safety now. If they take advantage of the next few weeks, they can be in a position where they're likely to finish above us, and then it'll be down to where we finish whether it means they stay up or not.

Wonder if it's Moyes, as they know that's where we'll be looking soon

I meant just wierd timing with just having had an international break but then waiting after a defeat to Chelsea but as you say it may be trying to get a steal on competitors in the same boat or it could be they have the replacement they wanted ready to come in.
