Not sure what you mean mate, so sorry if misunderstanding.

But we didn’t spend excessively under Moshiri. We didn’t spend one penny more than a club our size should be spending on players.
The problem was we spent almost all of it so incredibly badly that we couldn’t recoup a single penny of it. An absolutely unprecedented amount of bad transfers.

But to progress, we need to spend big again.
Buckets out next home game then

There is a fair bit of truth in that mate. But we also brought in a fair bit of money into the club as well think Lukaku forward.

Our recruitment was poor.

But that was one stream only.

We broadened our wage base and increased our ammortisation bill to absolutkey unsustainable levels to quickly for the clubs size- it’s still like that today - thus our issue was cost control. There is more to a transfer cost than just the fee and what a club our size should spend. Someone like Gomes was costing us 12 mill ayear playing on loan at Lille, Mina 14 mill for about 6 games a season.

We sacked a manager annually that’s added 60mill + to our overall cost base over this time.

In the midst of all that we also decided to borrow the guts of 500 mill and also deal with the cost of that borrowing.

We managed cost poorly and made awful decisions, whether that equates to spending excessively or not - we spent money excessively that we didn’t and don’t have.

We've just played a team that has been bettered in the 5 away games they've played this season. Not even earned a point away from home.
We have a fully fit team at home playing most of the game against 10 men & can't hit a barn door.

"They don't know how to win a game"

Wonder who said that.
Ooooh ooooh!!!! I think I know the answer to this one!!!!

Is it........ the manager who came to this club with a 26% win ratio after being sacked for winning 4 of 30-odd games at Barcelona Burnley and has lost 45% of his 300+ career games as Prem manager?

I’ve been saying all day the team and particularly the forward unit are awful mate, you’ll get no arguement here.

But you still champion keeping Dyche in the job , playing a totally uninterested DCL is down to him.
It's rinse & repeat every week.

Keeping him is optimal at the moment, I’ve been clear on my reasons to, can this team get worse under a different manager - definitely, are conditions optimal to make a change structurally - no, can we afford it -no.

Then you think, will the dude who kept us up in a year 1 hopeless cause, year 2 point deduction - do it with neither of those things at play, logically to me, weighing all above up, I believe he will and thats what best for the club holistically at the moment.

The tipping point for me - is where Lampard got to.

The alternative plan here doesn’t seem sensible to me…

What do you want?

Sack the manager.

How do we make sure we don’t get worse?

Just pick a better one.

Who’s doing that?

Same people who picked our last crap ones.

Can we afford it?

Prob not.

Right so….

yea, it's pathetic. The same generic questions teeing him up for the waffling
The club shouldn't be allowed ban journos. People pay a lot supporting football
“Sean, apparently there’s no evidence on Thursday of Ndiaye being able to play as a 10 and less than 48 hours later he was being played there against ten men. Now, does this mean you were wrong? Does it mean you were no longer as happy as you have been up until that moment with McNeil?, or did you want to move your best dribbler with the opposition down to ten men to a far more congested middle of the pitch instead of isolating a fullback he’d already shown he had the beating of?”
“Your long managerial career has more games played than goals scored, this doesn’t sound right so I had to double check and it is. Presumably it was tough at every club you managed, especially goal scoring. Yet regardless of the amount of time you were in situ goals have always been at a premium, why is that?”

"Are ya sure you want Pickford upfront or have ya just got the team sheet upside down ya pillock"

Whether or not his coaching is crap, his use of players confusing, setup too pessimistic and his subs late and ineffective, it doesn’t matter much for me any more.

His “message” has gone stale for the players, simple as that. Clear as day. Stands out a mile now. Time is up when that happens, it cannot ever be fixed. Has happened to managers far far far better than him.

In a psychotic way I admire his ability to consistently relay the exact same message before and after every single game without any hint of irony. But it visibly saps verve and vitality from the squad when they have just heard it all too many times. Some probably hate his guts by now.

We’ve had recent squads throw managers under the bus extremely quickly to deflect from their own finger pointing half arsedness on the pitch (Morgan). Actually think this bunch have given him plenty of time, and he’s too strong willed for our usual suspects to oust him (and aligns himself with the senior players or players from his past).

Either change manager or replace every single player in the squad. They are no longer compatible.
