2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

He's messed up what was an easy run of fixtures. We had an opportunity to pull clear of trouble, but as of now we are right in it with the likes of the rs, Arsenal and Chelsea looming on the horizon.

Only a blue Bill loving plucky little Everton minded simpleton is still supporting Dyche now. I'm sick of him and i'm sick of his bullshit football.

It's time to pull the trigger now in fact he should've been binned about a month ago!

Averaging 40 point at 33 games means an average of 1.21 points per game.

Averaging 41 points per season is an average of 1.07 points per game.

We are at 0.9 points per game with nearly a third of the season gone and a favourable run of games so far this season. The other points hauls you speak of were having played more games AND the more difficult teams. We are currently returning a points per game return 21% less than last season at 33 games and 15% less than the last 3 years average you mention.

Its not looking good and we can’t just think we’ll go on some sort of mini run because we have in recent seasons. Dyche may well have relied on that, but twice it never happened and he was relegated.

Personally, whilst the players aren’t great, I think the squad is slightly stronger overall.

My point was in response to you suggesting we weren't relegation fodder last season. We were and have been for years now. I've shared my view for a long time that I think as a squad we're 12th at best, 17th at worst.

We started last season really poorly too. We had 2 good runs - around Christmas and from April.

We need the premier league to hurry up and approve this takeover asap, the sooner they do the sooner we can turn a page and move on with binning him.

We also need to invest in January to get some goals into this team or we could end up going down

Ah right, yes well no one suggesting we are a top half side. The squad isn’t great admittedly and we will oscillate in a positional range but I guess my point is a manager would hope to maintain and possible improve, we are absolutely nowhere near that. He’s just a poor manager unfortunately and it showing in performances and results even with the poor players at his disposal.

Just the title though mate, the echo are so far up Dyches arse they could tell you what curry he had last week.

They're all singing from the "be careful what you wish for" hymn sheet in that rag and will suck up to Dyche at every given opportunity.
I stopped reading that shitrags Everton coverage about two years ago. Half their journalists covering Everton are kopites anyway.

Benitez aside (because he was an aberration that should never have happened), has a manager ever had a colder relationship with the fans?

I’m a bit too young to remember much about Mike Walker, who I guess is a potential candidate.

Dyche just makes no effort with the fans, and never has. I can’t tell if he’s scared of us, dismissive of us… or both.

You'll have that when you realise a new manager isnt coming in until TFG takeover.

Laughing at the thought of Thomas Frank (your example) coming in tomorrow with Farhad Moshiri on the press release talking up how he's the right man for the club.
I like the way you’ve now diverted from the original point to “Everton won’t appoint a new manager because the owner will look weird doing a press release”

Well before moshiri, Good Times and all that jazz
It goes back even further sadly. The rot started when Howard went to Spain. 1995 apart and almost forty years worth of mediocrity since.

A bit like Coventry when they were in the top flight from 1967 to 2001. Just merely existing doing nothing of any worth every year.

There needs to be a documentary made or book written about what has been done to this club.

Not a diversion in the slightest. Just further indication of how silly it is to think the club would make a managerial appointment while pending a takeover.

Our pal Dickie Masters is probably slow walking their application then. Would be the most Everton thing ever.
