2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Kenwright single handedly started the rot of this club and is responsible for some of our fan base excepting and backing the likes of Dyche, Benitez and Allardyce.

Its sickening to the core.

It’s not just him, if people didn’t placate him then he had no presence. People did placate him, many did, some Evertonians even applauded him in response to a protest back in 2012.

I agree with you however Fans over the years have played their part in this. They talked down anyone who wanted to demonstrate or show dissatisfaction with the previous regime and even after under Moshiri and his cronies tried to character assassinate supporters with the headlock disgrace, there was still many who showed a attitude to any protesters or deemed negative opinions as “toxic “

I don’t like saying this, a lot of slime ball tactics have gone on at this club over the years and some were willing to play ball for their own benefit and suspect it still goes on to this day
The only say the fans have is to not show up and to not watch. Otherwise the billionaires don’t care one bit what the fans think. The only way they will take notice is to hit them in the wallet.

I still have a sneaky suspicion that TFG already have their Manager sorted out and will make the change not long after they are in. They have been doing a lot in the background and the man they want to lead their new club forward is bound to have been high in their list of priorities. I definitely cannot see them giving Dyche the January window, that is assuming of course they have completed before then.

Yes, in the modern game, with more and more teams looking to play out, it's incredibly important that your number 10 or even a striker plays a part in blocking off passing lanes.

Feel free to disagree with me if you want. Some tactical insight would be useful.

Can’t be bothered to be honest mate …

You missed the whole point … his automatic reaction is always in regard to defence … his tactics , his selections and his answers and justifications to questions he is asked .

Another goalless performance yesterday from us which makes it that we have failed to score in half our fixtures in the league this year and have only won twice this season and only 7 times this calendar year .

We have a nightmare December and I can easily see us in the bottom 3 at the start of next year .

Too many happy clappers for that.

If we keep filling the ground weve lined their pockets and showing we are in support.

I don’t mind having a defense first approach.

I do mind that when we do have the ball, there’s no clear plan of attack. There’s rarely support to the ball carrier, the wingers are inverted and the fullbacks generally stay back, so there’s no natural width in attack. No support, no width. Just crosses from deeper areas to a single striker marked by two, sometimes three defenders.

The players are quite an issue as well, generally they’re not good enough. But the deficiencies we see in attack happen every match. There are no overloads in advanced areas I see, little to no overlapping runs, just bland, narrow play, which ironically as a defensive coach, Dyche would love to play against.

It’s not easy. Not really fair to call people that. It’s a club they love and want to support, but they have no control over what actually happens.
