Didn’t look like scoring at all today. DCL looks completely disinterested but Dyche simply doesn’t rate Beto so he will carry on starting every game. Ashley Young was the best player on the pitch today and worryingly looks like one of the only players who can actually find a pass…

Desperate for a couple of attacking players in January, but think Dyche having ran out of ideas is most of the problem. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Friedkin’s showing him the door as soon as they are in.

Speaks volumes that our goalkeeper is currently topping the motm poll when our opponents were winless away from home Brentford who played most of the game with 10 men. Dyche doesn't know how to take games on. We'll sleepwalk to relegation under this clown, while all the time the apologists will insist that he's the only one who can keep us up.

It’s not sleepwalking, we’ve circled the plughole for 5/6 years now.

If we go down the rot didn’t exactly start with Dyche did it.

I think he’s underperforming but this squad is [Poor language removed], open your eyes a bit.

Most people around me seemed resigned to the fact that we weren’t going to score, it wasn't nervy. Yet again he has to deflect some blame onto the fans though. He wants the sack.

The first thirty minutes were positive, however the second half atmosphere was flat because the performance from those on the pitch was, once again, tepid.

As you said, the consensus was that we were not going to score, and I think that was fair: the passing was slow and sideways; the crosses lacked impetus.

Our football is far too safe. A decent side would have buried Brentford in the first half, who I think would have rolled over and proverbially had their tummies rubbed.

Dyche is nothing but an egotistical liar, who is unable to accept any form of responsibility for the today or the wider situation.

Surely they must being pushing to get him out now. He will take us down
Whilst I personally think we are 1 of the 3 teams that will be relegated at this moment in time, I can see why TFG might (and I stress the 'might' part!) stick with him is IF (big if) we pick up a few unexpected wins between now and January and we're not in the bottom 3 come January.

Whilst I would fire him the second the ink was dry on the contract, I can see the logic in TFG sticking with him for the final six months of his deal as they get their feet under the table - if we're comfortable ish in the league. As with any owner, I'd expect TFG will make the decision based on results at time of takeover and who is available mid-season to take over vs waiting until the summer to get their man.

Let's hope the new owners boot him, get a proper manager in with a proper coaching staff and get rid of our 2 sunday league strikers. No other club in the league would spend ~£22m on a striker and never play him in 18 months whilst making the other striker utterly undroppable despite the fact he averages about 6 goals a year.

I'm not sleepwalking, and neither is the majority of the fanbase, the Dyche apologists who keep claiming he'll keep us up whilst also excusing every poor result/performance are the ones I am accusing of sleepwalking into relegation. Obviously the squad isn't of the highest quality but it should be able to see out a 2-0 lead in the 87th minute, beat a winless Southampton, create any scoring chances against a pointless away from home Brentford who have 10 men on the pitch. You can argue in isolation that these instances come down to the squad alone but when it becomes a regular occurrence you have to consider that the way they are prepped for matches, the way they are coached and their physical and mental conditioning may be suspect. That's the job of the coaching staff. Maybe it is you who should open their eyes.

If they plan to invest in January, I think it’s a no brainer to get rid so the new manager can get his own players. Not sure who will be available in Jan though.

Praying Broja/Chermiti can get fit and do a better job than the other two.

We have some poor players for sure, but this squad plays his way, if they had any balls they'd down tools on him and play like the professionals they are supposed to be and tell him to F Off with his crap tactics and style(in the loosest sense possible!) as for sure it's making them look piss poor at the moment.

7 wins in the last 32 Premier League Games.....

Under Dyche we have added 14 players, but despite that he is returning Dyche at Burnley, Lampard and Benitez level of points.

Agreed. Dyche NEEDS to go. We will absolutely be relegated with his style of play this season.
20 teams in the Premier League.

19 of them have managers/head coaches who try to win games, want to win games, try to be assertive, play on the front foot, dominate games if they can, have a go when they can, coach teams to play a modern way, develop players etc.

1 of them has a guy who just wants 38 clean sheets, just wants not to lose, plays for 0-0s every week, sells 0-0s as great results, plays the same players every week, the same tactics, and thinks we'll stay in the league with 1-point-per-game and 30% possession because hoofball sometimes did the job 10 years ago.

Guess which one we are.

Friedkins may decide to let him see out his contract unless they think it likely we are going down. It’s the cheapest option. I think they will reassess when they get the door keys. If the month of December yields zero points then they have no option. IF Dyche manages a few draws then he may be safe until Seasons end. As the =y showed at Roma, its a results game.
