…I agree with you, Matey ;). We’ve struggled to break teams down who defend deep for a long time, sometimes it’s about players,
I'm not sure if you know how a question mark works, Eggsy. It's mad how all in you are on a man who has won 7 games in the league in the entirety of 2024. Who has had the easiest fixtures of any manager in the league at the start of the new campaign. Who has "coached" his team to one goal in four games against mediocre opposition. And, apparently, has no power to improve any of those things whilst earning £5m a year plus a £3m relegation bonus. If that's the case, who cares if he's sacked? If he can't affect the outcome of games then we might as well have Doris the tea lady handle things, she would also be powerless to change things.

Onwards and upwards Sean old boy.

Exactamundo.

Probably do a better job than Moshiri has.

Point is and it's very simple.

No new manager is coming in until ownership is resolved.

Until then, there's a reason we've had Benitez, Lampard and Dyche.

Think to all the names linked to Everton the last 3 or 4 appointments. All crap.

Even when we got Ancelotti we got lucky. Wed sacked the manager when he was still in position at Napoli and we were scrambling around for ages.
The new owners may not hang around after last few games, who could blame them

The reason we had them is due to the ownership, not the club. It was well reported regarding Benitez and Brands having a dossier on managers.

Lampard got appointed because one wanted Vitor, the other wanted Frank and Vitor decided to go on sky sports like a lunatic

You’d have to be absolutely mental to think that Everton approached Thomas Frank (as an example) and said here you go mate, £5m a year he’s going to say no

The talking down of the size of this club by the fanbase is absolutely baffling. You act like were Southampton and should just grateful to be in the league

It’s shocking and embarrassing

Still the same ownership.

Some shortlist eh?

He'd jib it until ownership is sorted.

It is.

NSNO LAD!!!

Don't think so.

It's why we had some no mark crying on Sky Sports News when we did a uturn and went with Lampard.

It's why Bielsa jibbed us and we ended up with Dyche.

We're even less attractive now given point deductions/club pending new owners.

Friedkin confirmation and investment brings a worthwhile manager, IMO.

Until then - relegation fodder is going to relegation fodder.
I actually think we are more an attraction now, new owner, new stadium, the shake up the new owners will bring, Premiership mainstay, stupid salary!! History etc etc we could certainly attract a decent ambitious you manager, probably an experienced one too who looks at what Dyche does and thinks he can do better, christ mate, you or I could do better that PAT Tester Dyche.

Set our stall out now, because after December if it goes as we fear, we could be gone!

Bournemouth: 2-0 up with minutes to go and lost
Southampton: worst team in the league. Knocked us out the cup and beat us 1-0 in the league
Brentford: failed to beat a team with zero away points, who played more than half the game with ten men.

You can forgive 1 of these things, maybe make excuse for 2 of those things, but there should be no coming back from all three. Should've been 9 points and progress in the cup, instead it's 1 point total. Unforgivable.

We're a totally different proposition once ownership is sorted.

As I've said elsewhere I think they've earmarked Mancini or someone.
