2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Just saw his comments about Brentford being “no mugs”. The only mugs are those of us who continue to turn up and watch this Benitez tribute act slop that this limited dinosaur serves up each week. Anyone defending his position here simply does not want the best for Everton FC. He needs removing asap. His constant negativity and blaming everything but himself has run its course. Get rid.

Yes but you cant have one run different than the other. You have to compare the same for fairness and so the only way of doing that is by doing the premier league and that changes the picture completely.
Jesus Christ, I'm not banging out pie charts and running statistical analysis here.

I'm making a lighthearted observation.

It's mad that Dyche has had a better last 5 games for Everton than Pep has for City.

The end.

We pay managers like 5m a year. There would be a ton of interest

Don't think so.

It's why we had some no mark crying on Sky Sports News when we did a uturn and went with Lampard.

It's why Bielsa jibbed us and we ended up with Dyche.

We're even less attractive now given point deductions/club pending new owners.

Friedkin confirmation and investment brings a worthwhile manager, IMO.

Until then - relegation fodder is going to relegation fodder.

The salary is a massive attraction. As is the premier league. There will always be interest in managing Everton as a PL club

Anyway I suspect we all know where this is heading. Everton are very predictable.

What I expect to see is that we will continue to struggle and will drop to the bottom 3 at some point before Christmas. The takeover will complete by Christmas. And we'll have a new manager by January.

I see no way that this improves under Dyche. Just like it didn't improve under our last 2 managers when we are in this kind of position.

But I stand by my point that this team needs a new manager regardless who owns the club. The football is unwatchable and unacceptable.

So.

Does the forum hire Everton managers now??

Probably do a better job than Moshiri has.

Point is and it's very simple.

No new manager is coming in until ownership is resolved.

Until then, there's a reason we've had Benitez, Lampard and Dyche.

Think to all the names linked to Everton the last 3 or 4 appointments. All crap.

Even when we got Ancelotti we got lucky. Wed sacked the manager when he was still in position at Napoli and we were scrambling around for ages.
