He never said that. He said put in the effort to throw in tackles. You even said that yourself further up.

Yes, there are things out there, as mad as it sounds, that can be done with varying degrees of effort applied.

Despite not liking Dyche (an understatement), I definitely wouldn't trust the average Evertonian to replace them, myself included. The three you have chosen to highlight being excellent examples. There is a weird nostalgia in the fanbase, hence all the old boys getting votes in the poll. I'd add Carsley and Moyes to that list, too. I wouldn't want them either. But nobody should pay any attention to what I, or you, or any fan group says. It should be left to proper professionals, unfortunately we don't have any of those and, looking at the shenanigans at Roma recently, I'm not sure TFG do either. It's all very concerning.

Agree entirely apart from Moyes. Obviously, I know all there is to know about him because of his time here, but that's not the only reason I would have him back.

For me he's still arguably among the top 25 managers in World football, and would be (Ancelotti aside) the best manager we've had since err, David Moyes.

And no, I haven't drawn up a list of all the managers in the world and ranked them mate but even if he's not in the top 25 then surely he can't be too far off?
