If they want a black / woman Bond then its insane. Should release a different film and build a separate franchise.

Bond is a white bloke.

Tend to agree but I’m not entirely against it, does seem more about political correctness though.
My main objection with those two is I just don’t think they’re that good, certainly not for that role anyway.
With the right story and in a different Bond ‘universe’ John David Washington could be good I think.
I’m of an age where Bond had undercover run in’s with Russians etc and a non white person simply doesn’t work with that backstory.
I am getting on a bit mind!

I dunno why the clamour for Idris to be bond, he’s a terrible actor. Is it the sex appeal? Token black man choice? I am maybe missing it.
